I don't know what went down in the one-on-ones with reporters and Hopson, but in the Q&A that was available to everyone there were basically no substantive questions of Hopson in the open Q&A re his philosophy, what kind of O and D he plans to run or anything about assistants. The one thing he did make pretty clear is that his focus will be on building the program w/ high school players. There's no question in my mind in listening to him that he plans to use fewer JuCos and transfers than Monken - at least that's his mindset and plan going in....that could change when/if other realities make it necessary I would have to imagine.....(?)
