Ok, I guess. Now we have to beat a team that swept us in a mid week set.

I have been blessed to enjoy many, many great sporting memories since my first exposure to USM. I was a high schooler in Jackson that caught Golden Eagle fever in about '74. There are too many to name, but none more spectacular than our win over Rice on Sunday. It just doesnt get much better, not necessarily the win, but the lead up to the final play. What a game! It was made even better bye getting to ser it from the Right Field Roost with my ole buddy, Satsuma Eagle, who showed he still has some ups! Black/Gold

This has been an amazing season so far. This team has lost some key components along the way but has kept on winning. Have we ever gone though a C USA tournament without a loss? The championship game was one of the best played by both teams I've ever seen. I'm still fired up about the game. What an incredible ending! Congrats to the team and the coaches!

I also want to thank all the baseball fans and supporters. Our fans have supported the baseball team at a high level for a long time. This program wouldn't be where it is without a lot of money, effort and enthusiasm.

With the C-USA Tournament moving to Biloxi next year, I sure hope Southern Miss will look at hosting a really good early season event in Hattiesburg.

Bring in three other teams play a three day round robin with each team getting three games.

The revenue models indicate it's a no brainer.

Saw where coaches at Bama and Texas have resigned and/or been reassigned. In Auggies case, it just shows that nowadays you can be a "living legend" but you better win or you head out.
