Southern Miss Fan Remembrance Set for Football Game Against Troy

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics will hold a Fan Remembrance moment of silence prior to its Sept. 18 football game against Troy at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium.

This moment of silence remembers all the fans, season ticket holders, supporters and members of the Southern Miss family that have passed away over the last year.

For those wishing to include their friends or loved ones in this remembrance, they are asked to fill out the form listed below or email Daniel Haggerty at Daniel.Haggerty@usm.edu.

He didn't participate in practice and USM is not releasing info. IMO, I don’t think we will see Lowe this week, but we will see.

It seems as if practice threads are few to non-existent. The videos of Coach Hall’s pressers are consistently shown, but what about reports on how players performed in practice for not only competition Tuesday, but all other practices. Seems These reports haven’t been posted in days, it seems like. What happened to the fall camp-like reporting?

Google “run it back with Zack” and read his article on this topic should Cincy etc leave. He has Southern Miss and Marshall numbers one and two as best additions. Cool algorithm he used to come to this. Sorry I can’t post link.

According to this WDAM article, Antone Robinson will be back at wide receiver after missing the Grambling game with a hand injury.

There are rumors that USM will leave CUSA for the Sunbelt. As of right now, this is not official, but only rumors. Will give updates when more is learned.

In regards to the last post about the QB depth chart, I was the most confused I’ve ever been. Coach Hall said depending on the game situation or unforeseen situations, we will see either Ty Keyes or Jack Walker….all of fall camp, I’ve (I’m sure we’ve) only hear of QBs Trey Lowe, Ty Keyes and Tee Webb….who the heck is Jack Walker??? What is this name all of a sudden being mentioned as someone who could be put in a game when (I guess) hardly anyone has ready any reports on him competing. Coach Hall says “he had an unique skills set”, but nothing about him, nor his skill set has ever been mentioned???

Members attending were Eagle 70, Karen, Carol, Tee, Danny W, Grover, Pat, Lamar Eagle, Finn Finn, Randy and Hilda. Listened to Coach Hall answer questions from fans and enjoyed good fellowship. SMTTT
