Today Southern Miss took in the seventh of fifteen NCAA allowed spring practice sessions today at MM Roberts Stadium. The Eagles pushed practice up to 3:30 or so, we didn't get notification of the change so I only caught the last 30 min of the session but here's what I picked up:
- Interestingly only three QB worked out today, Parker Adamson, Tyler Matthews and Nick Mullens. No sign of Gunner Roach, have heard rumors that he is no longer with the program but as of now that has not been officially confirmed.
- D'Nerious Antoine continues to improve. Also like what I am seeing from Wil Freeman, and Picasso Nelson on the defensive side of the ball.
- I've said it before and I'll say it again, Rashod Hill is really good. I also think the rest of the OL will be better around him this year and we'll better be able to see just how good he is at LT.
- WR depth continue to impress.
- More Green Jerseys today. But, I think several were held out to make sure they're ready for Satudray's scrimmage.
