If the Federal Budget were to be expressed as a Family Budget it would look like this:

Annual Spending $37,900
New Credit Card Debt $13,000
Existing Credit Card Debt $53,500
Recent Belt Tightening $385
And yet the Democrats and even a lot of the Republicans just want to keep on with this insanity. Their idea of decreasing spending is like a really over weight person going on a diet. They were going to gain 30 pounds this year, but with their diet they are only gaining 15. So their diet is a huge success by Washington's standards.
When are the people of this country going to wake up to the madness and realize that we are becoming Greece right now. Not years down the road, but now.
