I'm sure that if USM had negotiated a "no-cowbell" clause into the contract, we would have heard about it by now. Just be thankful all those bell-ringing State fans are buying up tickets at a premium. The clanging will add to my personal level of misery at the game, but what the heck. I'm still glad we are playing MSU in Hattiesburg. Let them have their fun.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the artificial noise policy is an NCAA rule. Ms State was allowed to keep them in Starkville only as long as they weren't rung during plays. Enforcement of the rule is a different subject all together.

No. Mistake is given special treatment since they can't make enough noise on their own without aid of artificial noise makes.

That's the truth. No one there last year yelled or clapped. All the noise came from the bells
