Big boys from Waynesboro making an impact for USM
The Golden Eagles defense has been stout up front this season with 14 sacks through four games. It has much to do with their depth – adding several Southeastern Conference transfers to the mix during the offseason, including a couple of big boys from Waynesboro.
USM offensive line starting to gel
One of Southern Miss’ glaring issues last season was the offensive line. Head coach Will Hall didn’t sugarcoat the problem and took action – bringing in Sam Gregg to shore up USM’s offensive front.
