I had a good week of practice and I felt like I had a good week vs UTSA
Lab Tech has good biggs and good guards
LA Tech guards are fast and really good in transition
We have to stop their biggs, and slow them down to stop to La Tech
Coming off 2 loses we are practicing hard this week to pick up some wins

We needed to win 1 of the UTSA games. I thought we played hard after watching films.
Not having Tae hurt s. He is our best perimeter defender and that is huge when paying teams with good guards. He also means a lot to us on offense, he would have created problems to them.
Johnson played well, and maybe he will become the player we thought he could be. He missed 5 weeks in fall with knee issues.
I like our balance in scoring. We are getting better every game. We are encouraging our guys to take more shots and play with confidence. I want them shooting open shots.
LA Tech has 3 really good players in the post. Lofton may be the biggest guy in D1 (size not height) he is a load. Gordon and Crawford are good. Crawford can shoot from the outside. We are going to have to pressure the ball to keep them from getting it into the paint.
We have to run the entire game where we may have an advantage there.
Johnson is talented, he has had an adjustment period from JUCO. He has had to learn to compete every day. He is now understanding that.
Mormon is back and has looked good in practice. He is the one guy we have that will be important on defense because of his size. He also gives us extra fouls to use and get Tyler extended rest.
We are excited about possible announcement on Friday. Things could change, but we will be safe.
We are keeping all our options open in recruiting.
