upcoming weekend baseball opponent Oakland

I was looking at their website to see what the weekend looked like for baseball and............now I know how others look at Reed Green and our basketball facility when I saw their BASEBALL field. See link for yourself. The part that got me was how it states that it is one the top facilities in their league.

They haven't won a game(0-8) and were picked to finish last in their league. Their series over the past weekend was canceled so it will be two weeks since they played a game when we open up the series on Friday.

When I read your post I didn't even know where Oakland University was (Michigan), and when you stated their record I thought it would be an easy sweep for USM this weekend. What should be stated is that their 0-8 record has been against Florida State, Southern Cal, and Arizona. No lightweights in that group. They have only been shut out in one game, and I think in a couple of games they scored 6 and 8 runs. Given our anemic offense, I hope our team isn't looking at this series as an easy sweep.

Their pitching staff has allowed 76 runs, 112 hits, 51 walks, hit 11 batters and thrown 14 wild pitches in 64 innings. Those numbers are awful no matter who they played.

I hope they are looking at it as an easy sweep. Because it should be an easy sweep. We should be a much superior program to Oakland.

Need to take care of the two mid-week games against S. Alabama and Old Piss before we worry about the weekend this weekend.

yeah but you should see their hockey arena ......

Midweek games went better than I expected. I would have been ok with splitting with S Alabama and Old Piss.
Now we need to take care of business this weekend.
