Irene Aldana faces Norma Dumont in a fight for bantamweight bragging rights. Mexico's Aldana owns the record for the second-most total strikes landed (1,105) in UFC women's bantamweight history. Brazil's Dumont is on a four-fight win streak. The tenth-ranked bantamweight beat former world champion Germaine de Randamie in April after a run at flyweight.

The event will see the return of Raul Rosas Jr. Rosas showcased his skills on Dana White's Contender Series, and White had to sign him afterward. The 19-year-old is on a two-fight win streak and has six wins via submission.

The UFC 306 main card is available via pay-per-view on ESPN+, which also requires a subscription. The PPV price for UFC 306 is $79.99 for current subscribers. New subscribers can pay a bundle price of $134.98 for the UFC 306 pay-per-view and an ESPN+ annual subscription, which offers savings of more than 30 percent.

Sean O'Malley defends the UFC bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili in the main event.

The first Dana White's Contender Series alum to win and defend gold, O'Malley last fought in March, defending his title against Marlon Vera.

He faces a 2019 World Championships silver medalist in Dvalishvili, a wrestler on a ten-fight win streak. Dvalishvili refused to fight teammate Aljamain Sterling when he was champion, despite being the top contender. While Dvalishvili has dominated everyone in his path, O'Malley believes he will falter on fight night.

"At the end of the day, he’s just another opponent," O’Malley said on Believe You Me podcast via MMA Fighting. "It’s gonna be another knockout, highlight-reel for the ‘Sugar Show.’ I feel bad for him because he’s been this close to the belt for a long time, and he’s just not quite gonna get there, and it’s because of me. So, there’s a little bit of guilt there.

The co-main event will see Alexa Grasso defend the UFC flyweight title in a trilogy fight against former champion Valentina Shevchenko. Grasso shocked the world by beating Shevchenko at UFC 285. They fought to a draw a year ago, and Grasso looks to end the rivalry on a high note.
