It is going to the top of the 8th. With FAU losing yesterday, if we win today and win the series, first place / #1 seed will be officially ours to lose. Reason being, if we win this series, I dont see Rice losing a series to us AND losing a series AT HOME to FAU. So even if we lose the series to FAU (just dont get swept), when Rice and FAU play, it will push us back to first as long as we take care of business.
I don't want to go into the CUSA tourney as the #1 seed through the back door. I am hoping we just keeping winning to create more space. If we lose tonight, we can still take care of business tomorrow as well..... I dont know what I would do if we swept Rice.. lol But one game at a time.
