There is no way to sugarcoat what happened Thursday night. The Eagles got beat all over the field by a 2 win Sunbelt team that was near the bottom of every category on the offensive and defensive side of the ball in FBS. There is no need to look at stats or go back and watch film to break down this loss. It was obvious watching the game. Nothing can be blamed on Covid because USA had to deal with the same thing and they came out, to their credit, and hit the Eagles in the mouth. Here are a few thoughts I had on the game and what went wrong Thursday at The Rock.
