Just saw interview of John Cox with Jay, and was very pleased that he was specific in saying that Southern Miss is where he wants to be, and there will be no more moving for him. Won't it be great for the old (and young) long time, die hard supporters of Southern Miss if Jay is very successful here and is here for the long haul. Look at all of the good and great years when we have cheered, along with the years that we have felt (and were) defeated mainly because of having to constantly exchange a very successful coach with a "hopeful" one. I feel that Southern Miss had finally found another Jeff Bower who will lead us to even higher goals in Southern Miss football. Count me in!
