In my opinion, #25 Southern Miss and #1 Tennessee should have never been matched up in a regional to begin with as both were too highly ranked. Short of Southern Miss winning it all there is no shame being put out of the NCAA tournament by the eventual National champion. That is the 2nd time in the last 3 seasons it has happened to Southern Miss.
