No sacks, forced fumbles, or interceptions- but Jamie Collins did lead the Patriots with 8 total tackles. Very glad to see him win a Super Bowl.
A little Super Bowl/Southern Miss trivia that many would like to forget. During the 2004 game between #4 Cal and Southern Miss, true freshman Marshawn Lynch was the running back that scored the touchdown in the 4th quarter to seal the Cal win 26-16. As those who witnessed the game will remember, Southern Miss scored a TD in the the final quarter to make the game 17-16. While attempting the extra point to tie the game the kick was blocked and returned by Cal for 2 points making the score 19-16. That was followed later by Lynch's 12 yard run to make it 26-16.
