This spring the Southern Miss football program completed their 15 NCAA allowed football practices that culminated with the Black and Gold Game on April 18th. The White Squad came away with a 22-14 win over the Black Squad in the game.
Like every team this spring Southern Miss went into the camp with a number of questions, during those 15 practices many of them were answered.
One question this writer had going into the camp was concerning the quarterback position. At the beginning of camp the question I had was 'Is this quarterback competition that Coach Monken keeps talking about real?'.
