HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The University of Southern Miss reminds fans of the policies for campus tailgating during home football contests, beginning next weekend when the Golden Eagles welcome Kentucky to town.
Southern Miss allows personal tailgate tent setups in open green spaces on campus beginning the day before a home football game at 12 Noon. (For a Saturday game, tailgate tents can be set up beginning on Friday at 12 p.m.). During days that classes are in session from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. normal parking rules will be enforced on campus and we ask that you do not park in emergency lanes or no parking/ 24 hour reserved parking zones.

If these items are not removed by then, they will be collected and stored at the Physical Plant offices for you to pick up. The USM Physical Plant and USM Police Department are not responsible for any tents/tailgate items or damage to these items if they are not collected by the above stated time.
