That is an outstanding stat but I do wish he would throw the ball away more to avoid the sacks and cut down on the fumbles.

When your average throw is 5 yards, I'd hope you're pretty accurate. All of his yards come after the catch.

Abraham is a stud. Doing very well for his first year starting. He has 2 more years to get better and he might get an offensive line eventually. He will really be able to open it up once the run game starts working

Exactly. Weak arm. Completion percentage is prob worst in nation when throwing further than 10 yards down field. Went at least 2 games without completing a pass to his team beyond 12 yards. Didnt see 2-3 games so maybe more. Whatley has more upside.

We don't have a run game. That is why we utilize the short passes with our stud QB, but I am sure you already know this. Whatley is a running back at this time in his career. We will have to wait and see if he develops into a passer. Jack played pretty for his first year starting. He will be the starter for the next 2 seasons. We are so lucky we got him.

You and Jack must have a seriously love affair going on. I've been following Southern Miss for a very, very long time and I've never seen an Eagle QB with an arm that weak. I think little Tommy Waters may have had a bigger arm. WHY does Whatley throw the ball down field with no running game? I'm not saying Abraham doesn't throw the ball down field here and there, I'm just saying he never completes those.
Look, I'm sure he's a nice kid and works hard, but we can all see his arm. It's sub par.
