Softball Announces 2017 Fall Schedule

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss softball team will play four home and four away games for its 2017 fall season. The games begin on Saturday, October 7 and run through Sunday, November 5. All home games are free and open to the public and will be played at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.

The Golden Eagles open their fall season across town at the William Carey Tournament on Saturday, October 7. The team will play Pearl River at 3 p.m. and host William Carey at 5 p.m.

Southern Miss will return to Hattiesburg to continue the fall season on Thursday, Oct. 12 when they square off against the 2017 NJCAA DII National Runner Up Jones County JC at 4 p.m. and conclude the day against the 2015 NJCAA DII National Runner Up East Central CC at 7 p.m.


Southern Miss wraps up the home games with a doubleheader against Coastal Alabama CC beginning at 5 p.m. before traveling to Starkville to play a doubleheader against Mississippi State. Those games will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5.Sat Oct 7 @ William Carey University
