JCJC beat Sinclair (Ohio) 11-4 then played Gateway (Arizona) and defeated Gateway 7-1 to claim the NJCAA Division 2 National Championship! A lot of Southern Miss connections on this JCJC Bobcat baseball team with the head coach Chris Kirtland, Assistant Coach Travis Creel, and grad assistant Matt Durst all former Southerh Miss players. Two Southern Miss signees in pitcher Calder Mikell and OF Mason Irby!
