To begin with, Southern Miss is a unique University.
We are a major player with Research dollars.
Our Honors College is one of the best regionally... We are at 550, with capacity of 500.
The average ACT is over 30!! Highest GPA ever for the HC.
Baseball: Maybe the play of the year in college baseball, The relay throw at Home plate to Chucky..... WE won the Rice game. 3-2 at the plate.
Softball: Record season with Coach Wendy Hogue leading this group! I am going to support Wendy! She is special.
Tori Bowie...the Olympic super star. 3 medals. Is the 2nd fastest women in the world.
Will be the favorite in Japan in 4 years to be the fastest, and most decorated Sprinter of all time.
Brian Dozier.... My Lord, no question. The best hitting 2nd baseman of all time.
WILL hit over 40 HR's. Truly remarkable.
Austin Davis..signed with the Denver Broncos. Finally, he will have an Oline that will protect him.
IMO-Davis will thrive with the Broncs.
The little Jalan Richard, with the Raiders. Made the cut. This may be my favorite story.
He is dynamic. I look forward to seeing him this Sunday vs the Saints.
Mike Thomas made the Rams roster.
Our Girls Volleyball team beat UConn, UVA, and LSU!
Our brother South Alabama beat the mighty Dawgs!
Joey Jones makes about $250,000 per year versus Dandy Dan's salary of over $4,000.000.00
Go USA! I have no problem aligning ourselves with USA. Great program.

Finally, We destroyed Kentucky of the mighty SEC.
In the first half, Kentucky was dominant. Barker was great, the fast and large athletes were overwhelming us.
Then, it was the most incredible game I've ever seen.
We outscored an SEC school in front of 57,000 fans 34 to 0!
I'm still in shock.
Kentucky had 56 total yards in the last 2+ quarters. Wow.
go lil Southern Missippi,
