I have in the past asked on this site where was some of the best places to eat for seafood when I come down there. I was given several names including Mary Mahoney's. Well in the Clarion Ledger today, it was shown that Mary Mahoney's and Biloxi's Quality Poultry and Seafood pleaded quilty in Federal Court of conspiring with each other to felony charges of selling and mislabeling cheaper foreign seafood as US Grown or wild caught. Fines of up to one million dollars and up were imposed. Mahoney's had been selling substandard fish and seafood since 2018. I personally wish both would be shut down for good, for deceiving the public. Both Mahoneys and Quality Seafood to be sentence in November . I hope both would be shut down for good.
