I'll be surprised if we ever see an NCAA death penalty for a "big" athletic program again. There's just too much money involved now. If the Baylor or Penn State episodes had occurred at a non-P5 program, then maybe we'd have seen a death penalty. But I just don't see how the NCAA can do it now.

The only "death penalty" will be the NCAA. As far as I'm concerned, the NCAA is just as guilty as the institutions they are supposed to oversee.
