Southern Miss fell short of one of their major goals on Saturday when they dropped disappointing 45-28 decision to Western Kentucky in the Conference USA Championship Game. The loss dropped Southern Miss to 9-4 on the year and prevented the Eagles from claiming their sixth C-USA Championship.
