It has been interesting to read our posts as they run from high expectations to "yeah we will be better but not by much" to "oh yeah, it's on". I think I have gone thru all of those. This is my experiences and belief.
My brother and I have supported the Eagles financial and butts in the seats thru good and bad. We saw from the first game with Coach Johnson how bad it was going to be (we predicted within 1 game our record). We have seen improvement on a slow basis.
This year is the 1st that I see a winning season. I am not ruling out a win against State. As much as we detest the cowbell crew at least we see them in Hattiesburg. Win or lose I will be gracious in victory or defeat. I expect a competitive game. I will be sitting with Bassin' Eagle and Eagle without a Cause cheering my butt off. I am glad to be excited about football.
