i have not heard but I am guessing Nick was out for a concussion and will be ready to go this week. If that is true he will start. Hop indicated that Howard would play some since they had to pull his shirt. If that is true they will have to split time which I have never been a big fan. Coach will have to make some very hard choices.

In this situation, he can't please all the fans or all the players. I'm assuming the coaches and players have "reset" their season goals and are aiming for bowl game eligibility. They'll have to decide which QB gives them the best chance to win each remaining game.

The players and coaches need to go all in this week. They can get that 6th win and go to a bowl game. It may too tough to beat Tech with this current team, but North Texas is beatable.

Very limited data. We've seen Parker in relief running our standard offense and looking more sturdy than Nick, and Keon with a start used in a dissppointingly unsophisticated gameplan. Parker didn't light the game on fire, but didn't lose 4 fumbles either. I'd kind of like to see what Parker has in a start and have Keon ready.

You do not burn a shirt in week 10 to sit the kid back on the bench. You ride or die with Howard the rest of the way, using the next 2 weeks to get him ready for 2017. If this team cannot beat NTSU with Howard at Qb, they do not deserve a bowl game.

I've given up on trying to predict if we win or lose games because we lost three or four games that I thought we would easily win. At this point, I'm like this kid when I watch the scores ...

This thread is all wrong from the beginning. Our QB situation is just fine. We have three guys capable of beating any C-USA team. It's our defense and special teams that are a mess.

Capability was not the point. Pulling the shirt off a freshman with three game remaining. Now he needs to play ahead of the two upperclassmen in front of him

So you're saying we have a "QB mess" since some fans will disagree with the coaches no matter which QB plays today, and even if multiple QB's play today. I'm saying that's not a mess. But it does divert attention away from the real mess...and the reason we are losing C-USA games.
