In 2013, we were really bad. We were victimized multiple times by NC and Conference teams alike. We felt, in certain cases, that teams took advantage of our situation by gaining style points at our expense. Translation? Teams ran it up on us.
In my opinion, UNT was one of those teams.
As we all know, the next year we rolled into Denton and played our best game of 2014 winning by 10. Local Sports radio surprisingly railed on our performance all but saying that we were fortunate due to a poor home effort by the Mean Green. Where's the justice in that? I was at that game and I was shocked at the homer coverage.
Anyway, I am ready to see us take these guys apart. Hopefully, no one on this staff or any Upperclassmen have forgotten that disrespect that was experienced on our own field for Homecoming in 2013.
