JSC is right down the road from my home and there are many there and elsewhere that have been inspired to "go where no man has gone before." One of the shuttles was named "The Enterprise". I was in small part interested in pursuing a science degree at USM due to programs like Star Trek. To make this USM related, I hope the Orion rockets at Stennis are coming along well. I've always thought that USM could work toward more aerospace type ventures due to the proxy to the Hancock County facility. My Dad came out of the Cold War generation(enlisted around the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis in the US Air Force-had to travel to Jackson to enlist), and he always stressed the important of military/aerospace technology.
