ole miss vs ohio state and mich st vs LSU. sure would be exciting to see an instate team win the national champ because we have no hope to ever accomplish it being a little 5 team now.

4. Michigan State

CBS Sports
1. Ohio State
2. TCU
3. Alabama
4. Clemson

Sporting News

Are you joking? I certainly think they deserve to be in at this point, but I hope they start losing soon.

OM is not a better team than 'Bama. Bama turned the ball over 5 times in that game and still had a chance to win the game. I see a three way tie in the SEC west....Alabama will beat LSU and LSU will beat OM in Oxford. TAM may be able to pull out an upset along the way and shake things up but I would not count on it. I don't know what the tie breakers are in the SEC but whoever comes out of this mess will have to beat Georgia. It is setting up at this point for two SEC teams to get into the playoff but there are some other teams that are going to have a say in that. Putting 10 SEC teams in the top 25 was an attempt by the powers that be to give any and all top SEC teams more top 25 wins than the other conference power teams could possibly match..... but Ark and Aub didn't get the memo. This is going to be an interesting season and possibly a controversial one in the end if two Big Ten and two SEC teams end up in the playoff. Just may accelerate talk of expanding the playoffs......just my opinion.

Troll all you want but while OM is a good team and deserving of the top ten, they are not above LSU or 'Bama when the eye test is applied without rose colored glasses on.

I agree with you, but Alabama and LSU don't appear to have a game changer at the QB position. I hope no SEC teams make the playoff. It could have happened last year.

Big 12 - Baylor or TCU have to go undefeated
ACC - I don't see any of their teams going undefeated. Clemson will fade like usual.
PAC 12 - A 1 loss USC or Oregon could get in. UCLA and Utah will start losing eventually
Big 10 - Would a 1 loss MSU or OSU make it?
Notre Dame - I hate them, but would love to see them take an SEC place. ND seems to have too many injuries to make it through undefeated.
SEC - I hope Georgia loses to Tech and another SEC team and then goes on to win the SEC. I still think Arkansas or Auburn could wreck someone's season.

Ole Miss will always be Ole Miss...they will lose to MSU this year....They are better than Alabama, however...Beat them at their place
