AFA should not be using government money for the athletics department to begin with. The Merchant Marine Academy has shut down athletic events also for the same reason as AFA. The Coast Guard Academy has not.

The Democrats are not funding our troops. There is no shame. No I'm not sure why tax payer money is being used for the service academy.

I am OK with government funding the various academy's military missions but do have a problem with the Air Force Academy and Merchant Marine Academy subsidizing athletic programs with government money. The other service academy sports programs are self-sufficient.
