He made it to The Show! He pitched an inning and struck out a batter. Making it to the big leagues is an enormous accomplishment. There is a series of videos on youtube by former San Diego Padre Matt Antonelli who goes in detail about the journey to make it to MLB. I never realized how difficult it was. 30 teams and 26 man active roster...that is it.
