New Tie Breaker Rule determined the last couple of days.

Another example of poor decision making on part of CUSA leadership and crazy policies. Jeremy McClain needs to ride this arbitrary decision that seems somewhat smelly.

I can live with what was dictated rule provided there was sufficient time for careful thought and implemented prior to the a new season. However to call a vote the week of the final games that determine positioning for the championship game kills all integrity of a poorly run conference with weak leadership.

Our A.D. needs to go to war on this with the mindset we ramp up the desire to move to a new conference. We know the odds of entering a new league but all the while. This needs to be a rallying point for USM fans.

Many things have been named that are cause or partial cause for our demise of our athletics teams success. For me conference affiliation is as guilty as any. Personally I have little interest in any opponent in C-USA except Marshall.

This is down right stupid. If there is a tie between the three then you look at head to head match-ups. If this happens and Southern Miss gets in then c-usa just lost La Tech in the conference and they will move on to bigger and better things.

But La Tech lost to UAB who is also in the tie and of course we soundly defeated UAB.

Really I am not opposed to the new rule. You just don’t impose a new rule less that a week before the 3 games to be played. You put it in effect prior to a new season. It smells.

No, the new rule is ridiculous. Basically it is giving out charity just because I team hasn't been in the mix in a while. This is the everybody get a trophy mentality. Win your games and you are in. We screwed the pooch by losing to La Tech and then falling to WK. We had two chances and blew it.
