I was a little shocked to be honest when I scrolled down on the "logo website"..I was saddened. It seems to top off the downward spiral of Southern Miss Athletics...It looks like a little falcon or even an angry song bird. When I compare it to the 2003-2014 logo. Our current logo really is Bad A$$. It's tough.. God I hate this but I guess I will get use to it and I will wear it proudly....UPDATE I went back and looked several more times. and weired... it's kind of "growing" on me. but Definitely The Dynamic Eye.

It is growing on me to. I know McGillis said he wanted the logo to evolve and look more aggressive. I like it myself. I think it can look good on merchandise.

It has not grown on me yet. I guess I just want to keep the old one. At any rate, I don't think it looks as good as the old one, and honestly, to me it looks like a non D1 logo.

I didn't like the "oval eagle" logo at first in 2003, but it grew on me. I think the "traditional eye eagle" is okay and it will probably grow on me too.

It is my favorite logo design yet. Better than the Iowa rounded logo. Traditional eye, please.

I agree...I like it. I first preferred the dynamic eye, but the more I look at it, the more I like the traditional. I also think it fits better than the Iowa knock off if we ever try to use it on a helmet.
