Compared to last two years, does anyone know how this year compare's to the first two. The reason or at least a lot of it has to be the protection up front that he is now getting compared to then. Instead of running for his life or looking up from the ground after being pounding into the ground he now has the time to read the defenses and see his receivers. He now stays in the pocket as he should and makes the throw. I know a lot of people felt he was the wrong choice because he didn't run under pressure, but that is what TM wanted him to do, was to stay in the pocket and make the throw and take the hits. I also feel that at times that he could have run and gained a first down if he had of run, instead of taking a sack or making a bad throw, but with time maybe he will gain a little more experience and become a little more comfortable back there and do it when he needs to. Until then he is doing a real good job and the boys are real confidence in him and that is important.
