We had some missed opportunities and some piss poor play calling, but Nick deserves the MVP. He made some great plays today and never gave up.

Maybe everyone will stop calling for his head now. Even when we were terrible the last two years, Mullens has made good things happen.

He played well but missed at least two crucial throws that should've been first downs. But his biggest mistake was throwing the ball away with 45 seconds left in the first half. He should've taken the sack so the clock would go under 10 seconds before we punted. It would've been 19-0 at half.

No doubt. Casey Martin also had a big game- truly a clutch receiver.

On the defensive side D'Nerius Antoine is outstanding. If he keeps playing the way he is, he will be in the NFL.

Problem with your logic is neb still had timeouts left. If he took the sack they would have called TO and would have gotten better field position.

It's always preferable to make your opponent use timeouts to stop the clock. You don't stop it yourself with a meaningless incomplete pass that saves you 7 yards in a punting situation either way.

Just ask Eli Manning after week one.
