Coach Monken spoke at the ADP luncheon today. He seemed very upbeat while maybe a tad upset (probably about having to speak at this event...(my impression)). His main point was that he was tired of talking about the state of the program ie losing, he wants to be able to talk about success and aims to do that this year. He spoke briefly and quickly, very direct as usual and then took on some very good questions from the crowd. My memory is not what it should be but in general he answered every one except for the last one about upcoming match-ups. He was not allowed to answer that one, haha.
There was one question about the leadership on the team last year for which he had a very in depth answer for that was quite telling about the effects of losing in a team sport. I wish that I had recorded that answer. His way of handling that issue was very interesting. If someone else that was there can remember the main points of that, I think the board would appreciate that reply in detail.
I am sure there were others there that are on this board and would appreciate a recap from someone that can remember some of his other points for the folks that were not there.
SMTTT!
