I asked if size of stadium and capacity had anything to do with host sites. He said that it is not "supposed" to be a qualification but it could be a factor when the committee chooses who host. It just depends on them. This committee is made up of Presidents and AD's of the NCAA so it is hard to say what will sway them.
I asked about if Regional sites are chosen are those schools a lock to be a #1 seed. He said no, that a school could be a 2 if they host. The schools will have to play the season out. IMO this is not good for schools like USM who could play their way into a #1 seed by finishing strong amd winning conference tournament but the Eagles might end up in Oxford as a #1 seed.
I asked also about the transfer portal and if the NCAA might look at making adjustments. He said it is too early to say, but there are definite issues with what the NCAA has done.
