Didn't get to chat for long but here are a few things he stated..
1. Armistead would be his 3rd starter if they got to game 3. However, them not needing him in game 1 or 2 out of the pen is not a scenario that will probably happen.
2. Tanner amd Rodrigo told coach they wanted to start Monday. They weren't going to, but once both went to coach, it was a go then. That was a normal bullpen day for Tanner so no stran on his arm.
3. Will probably see Parker starting in LF. His bat is much needed in the 5 hole. Another one who told Coach Berry I am ready to step up and play and he did and earned his playing time. Ewing is the better fielder but Parker has played well.
Always grateful for Coach Berry always taking the time to speak with me every week. He doesn't have to but is always there and gracious when I ask. We sure need to take a second this weekend and be thankful a guy like Scott Berry being the HC. I personally believe he is the best HC in any sport in school history. If they make it to Omaha there will be no question he is the best.
