Jurich and Giannani took their respected positions at virtually the same time. While Giannani may have been incompetent, but at least he oversaw clean programs as far as I can tell. One has to wonder just how dirty the deals had to be to propel UL from lowly CUSA to the ACC. Their football coach is a best seller in his own right. If given the choice, it is better have little in peace than abundance through corruption.

When I was younger (and without a child) I 'might' have somewhat disagreed. But the older, and hopefully wiser I get, I realize it's just not worth it to sell your soul to the devil.

If we're airing dirty landry, the only thing I can think of was the low ball deal with Hattiesburg Coca Cola, the car dealerships over influence , and the overpriced pressure washers. Of all of those , it was a financial matter involving the school and businesses and not the athletes themselves. That is the only ill I can think of under G's watch.
