HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss basketball coach
Doc Sadler announced Monday the signing of junior college standout Marcus Cooper of Northeastern (Colo.) Junior College to the program for the 2016-17 season.
The 6-foot-3, 195 lb., guard from Van Nuys, Calif., scored 16.4 points, while adding 1.8 assists for coach Eddie Trenkle last season. Cooper converted 52.8 percent of his shots from the floor, 39.5 from 3-point range and 80.7 percent from the line.
