We shut out MS State in baseball and we really didn't get that excited about it. At this point, beating SEC teams in baseball is kind of expected and no longer a surprise. And that's really saying something since baseball isn't as strong the last few years as we knew it to be under Corky.

However, I would like to see us start scheduling some of the good SEC teams... Vandy, Florida, we had LSU last few years, etc. (We already schedule the other good teams from other conferences in our area... Troy, Tulane, etc)

I am sure most if Ya would like that too... The problem us, they do not want to play us in Hattiesburg.

Home field advantage isn't as significant in baseball. It just costs more to travel. Which is why I kinda suggested keep it somewhat local. We don't have to go to the west coast to play top 25 teams.

Can't get into playing only at their field in baseball also. It will be another giant step backwards, and we have already done enough of that lately.
