but this time it didn't happen. We prevailed, and old luck smiled on us for a change. Justly so for the heartbreaking loss by us last year at the rock. This victory was one of the sweetest in a long time. The excitement on the sidelines was overwhelming. Gore, Richard, and others were in a state of euphoria as the offense excelled for a change.

I believe this victory may have turned the tide for our team by establishing the all-important winning attituded. It also may have instilled confidence in some of our fans in Coach Hall. He and his staff did a great job in preparing for this game.

Several games ago, many of us thought we would not win another game. However, a victory next week will go a long way in propelling a positive manner for our team for next year. The excitement for football may be on its way back.

Even #70 only jumped offsides once.
