was a really shockingly poor performance. Of course, we did play on Friday night so why not play like a high school? It's my fault, really, I drank the kool-aide. I have no one to blame but myself. Going into the season I thought 6-6 would be likely, 7-5 possible, and 8-4 if the ball bounces our way, but then we showed marked improvement early in the season and I drank every drop of Kool-aid... It's no sin to lose to Marshall on the road, they own us, so I am not shocked we lost, I am shocked at how poorly we played, especially at QB. Our special teams looked worse, our play calling is predictable, and our entire team was emotionally flat. We looked as if we were overlooking Marshall, as if we should overlook anyone. Words fail. We regressed tonight, and then some.
On a happy note, our schedule is so weak we might mete out a 6 win season anyway, or maybe even 7. But if we don't take this ass whipping to heart this is going to be a LONG season. This is on the coaches.

Good points the biggest thing is how we bounce back get our confidence back. One TD for our offense WOW

9-3 you say?? From your mouth to God's ear, as they say, but you must be drinking something way stronger than Kool-Aid. La Tech, all things considered, will kill us, and we might lose to Rice, and most every game will be a challenge. Looking back so far, MSU was/is not a top 25 team, Nebraska is mediocre, Marshall lost to Ohio (and I don't mean Ohio State) and has played poorly in it's win's, we needed a herculean effort to beat Texas State etc. But, I hope you are right and I am wrong, I'll be cheering for your prediction the rest of the year.
Go Eagles!

We akways lose at Ohio, its just what we do. Don't let that game or this one fool you. LA tech is pretty good but you can win the west crown.

Ok, best case, you say we go 8-4. Whose the losses to?

We beat an FCS team, a Sun Belt team barely and a terrible CUSA team, and suddenly we are Championship bound?

Upset about how we lost but this is a game that I expected us to lose. Along with Rice and Tech. I will change Rice to a win. 7-5 and bowling.
