Would you go with JB out of the gate against Columbia (RPI 66) who is a very good squad. Or, would you save him for the winner of Miami and Bama or- God forbid- and elimination game?
My thoughts: The goal is not to show up and play well in a regional- it is to win and get to a Super and Omaha. If Allen can't beat Columbia- then USM can't get to Omaha. Pitch Matty against Columbia- JB in game 2- and try not to use Colby and start him game 3.
