Why are people saying Nix or Hop at this point?

Literally one person has reported Meachem interviewed and that was early in the week. We haven't heard anything about him since. I just find it surprising that people are still considering him a candidate.

The reason people are saying those are because those are the two that most people keep hearing now that Nuss pulled out. I don't understand why Nix would even get an interview though. It's getting old that every time we have to hire a new coach, he's in the mix somehow. He's not even good at a DC position.

I like Meacham too. I want another offensive minded coach. We have done well with that type of man at the helm. Nothing against Duggan, I just think we'd be better off with an energetic offensive minded leader.
