Nice piece in today's HA on Hayes. All signs point to this pick-up being a true value-add to the team. Sharp, smart kid with solid skills and what sounds like very strong work ethic, head on his shoulders and invaluable experience in a Big 10 program - understands what it takes to win. I think Hayes brings an awful lot to the table here beyond just athletic ability and another body to catch and run.
