It’s a battle for the AFC East this Thursday as the New York Jets host their home opener against the New England Patriots.

Both teams stand at 1-1 in a three-way tie for second place in the division, though the Patriots came close last week, losing in overtime to the Seattle Seahawks. And both teams are looking to make a statement this week.

Offensively, the Packers are tallying 22.5 points per game (14th in NFL) and 398.5 yards per game (fifth).

Through the air, Green Bay ranks 19th in the NFL with 373 passing yards (186.5 per game) and eighth in passing yards per attempt (7.6).

On the ground, the Packers rank second in the NFL in rushing yards with 424 (212 per game) and second in yards per attempt (5.7).

Green Bay, at 28.6%, ranks 27th in the NFL in red-zone efficiency. In third-down percentage, it is sixth (46.4%).

So far this season, Green Bay is 16th in the NFL in points allowed (22 per game) and 25th in total yards allowed (374 per game).

When it comes to defending the pass, the Packers’ defense has sputtered this season, as it ranks seventh-to-last in the league with 464 passing yards allowed (232 per game).

Against the run, the Packers rank 21st in the NFL in rushing yards allowed (284) and 16th in rushing touchdowns allowed (two).

Defensively, Green Bay ranks 18th in the NFL in red-zone efficiency allowed (50%) and sixth in third-down efficiency allowed (26.1%).
