Disastrously bad loss for our Eagles today. I hate it for the team

but a horribly weak schedule led some of us, myself included, to drink the kool aid. LSU will kill us, if they want to. Perhaps we put it all together or they play uninspired, but even then it'll be tough.
It looks like 7 or 8 wins is probable. I think/thought we were a 9 win, or perhaps 10 win team....still possible I guess...we have real problems we must address this week.

Good grief Charlie Brown and I had a Kool-Aid hangover. To make matters worse we loaded up again after the loss to Troy University Mam, just trying for a little dignity. Alas no dignity was to be found. No dignity so after conferring we decided to seek out not dignified things but just the very basics. Things like game preparation, Plans B,C D just in case Plan A does not work out Apparently that was all for naught.
So you take a 9-3 team with twelve starters back, all conference qb back, a thousand yard rusher, talented receivers and the core of a strong defense and you have team that should not have lostto Troy much less be humiliated by UTSA. Huh?
I was in the Army during the Cold War in West Germany. I was assigned to a top notch nuclear missile unit. Changed Commanders and the Battery tanked. Relieved the new Commander and returned to top notch status.

Derrius Guice, who we recruited, but did not sign, along with Darrell Williams will have a field day with our porous defense. I doubt Leonard Fournette even plays. We are about to find out the difference in 2 star and 4 and 5 star players. This could be embarrassing to say the least.

I doubt Leonard Fournette sees significant playing time simply because they don't need him against us. Although he could probably wear his boot and get 100 yards against this porous defense we'll put on the field Saturday.

The loss hurt, but the writing was on the wall all season long. I couldn't even bring myself back to this discussion board until today. I work with so many SEC homers. They go on about the SEC every week. I hope the boys can pull out a miracle this weekend.
