A TRASH CAN? No it is not an internet rumor, it was me. I was pushing a city trash container to curb full of laminated wood flooring. Very heavy. The thing got hard to push so near the incline in my drive way I gave it a little tug. It rushed me like a rhino Knocked me about ten feet onto the edge of my street. A passerby nearly ran over me. My hip had four different fractures. It took two firemen to get the thing off of me. I spent 27 days in the hospital. half in post op and half in rehab. I have been home for two weeks and am in home therapy. They say I will be on my walker a couple of more months. This really sucks. I remember the accident, the ambulance and waking up two weeks later.

Shortbob, that's awful! Sorry to read about it. But a lesson learned. I hereby resolve to use extra care when doing ordinary things. Wishing you a speedy and complete recovery.
