Depth chart 10/5/15

Looks like we may have a few guys back for Marshall that were on the sidelines in street clothes against North Texas.

We'll be a couple players shy of a full depth chart, no excuses here...everyone has injuries by this time of the season, just hope the next man up can stand tall.

Seems like the injuries have piled up on the defensive side. Monken said during his Monday media conference that Foster, Truly, Swain and Riley would practice this week. Getting those four healthy for Marshall would be huge.

It's great to see the possibility of several injured players returning. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Foster the other starting Safety alongside Antoine? I notice the depth chart has him behind Antoine with Picasso Nelson at the other Safety position. I thought when the season started Antoine and Foster were the starters, and that Nelson was behind Foster on the depth chart.

Foster started the opener against State and has been out since. He's probably listed as the backup because they still aren't sure if he'll be ready to go against Marshall with the short week.

That makes sense. I'm not surprised he is listed as the backup, but thought they would place him behind Nelson instead of Antoine. It's probably insignificant because I imagine if the coaching staff want Foster on the field the same time as Antoine, they'll simply do it.
